Sustainability Plans
In addition to training students, all undergraduate lecturers have been trained in NIMART, PALSAPLUS and IMCI, and they are already integrating the training into courses and modules, thus making the initiative sustainable. The students have also been all trained as planned.
Case studies have been developed for undergraduate HV and AIDS teaching and learning
The teaching sessions are all recorded and videotaped to allow for use later on.
The clinical skills self-study laboratory has been updated with all the relevant HIV and AIDS materials and DVDs to allow independent learning by students outside classroom
The clinical mentor will provide training for students and will be available at the end of the project to serve as faculty in the nursing department.
