Progress Summary for year 2: 

Undergraduate Medical Education

The two main activities in Public Health Medicine for year 2 comprise: 

   1.   Becoming a Professional (BAP) Module in the First Year of MBCHB which incorporates:

           a     ‘Me and HIV’ Workshops

           b     ‘Making a Difference’  Community Service Group Activity; 

Both activities are specifically facilitated by the MEPI initiative. 

   2.   The Selectives Programme whereby MEPI encouraged a number of activities including the training of Medical School Selectives’ Supervisors, and the re-introduction of the Community-Based Research Study for the Undergraduate Medical Students.
